Heaven and Hell - 2006 Release of SagoMetal
Thiên đưng và địa ngục HEAVEN and HELL by SagoMetal is recorded in the year of 2006, which includes 9 tracks with healthy dose of metalcore influence. Especially, the song Biển ru is a track greatly experimental with features of melodic death, and the song is remixed from their previous album Những đôi tay Hands

If compared with the album Hands in 2003, the music of Heaven and Hell 2006 has heavier background but still keeps the melodies, and the vocal now is one of death-metal but sung in the music with emphases like metalcore, thus it would not be as evil as brutal death metal or old-school death. With Trá»?i và Ä?ất (Sky and Land), each band member shows his own dentity. The guitarist Trung Thanh who often played his long and passionate solos in the previous album now changes them into shorter but effective ones, especially the riffs, which are more intense and "strong". Drummer Le Thanh Ha after his double-bass practise in years then could make the best out of him, the “stanceâ€? he uses continously in Song Dai Duong (Ocean’s Waves) track

The 9th song named Khuc Nhac Thien Duong (Heavenly Song) is taken to be the topic song with “more gentle chorus to “wash away the poison of this album, while the outro is an excerpt from Hymns to soothe the listeners after 55 minutes headbanging. The songs are about important historical events (Dien Bien Phu), war, natural disasters (Song Dai Duong Ocean’s Waves, Dong Thac Lu The Flood), about events in life. Only the song Giac Mo Tuyet Voi is about love. Songs with great intensity like Baghdad Khoi Lua (Baghdad in Fire) and Ngay Tan The (Judgement Day) are songs about on-going wars and destruction existing in the world.

The release of Thien Duong va Dia Nguc 2006 will heat up theVietnamese Rock scene, especially for headbangers, or metallers here. The album is now available in RFC CAFÉ 111 Ly Ching Thang St. Dis 3.
