REBIRTH - The Process Of Obliteration CDR (Metal)

REBIRTHStrange thing to have this promo CDR. First track enters the room with some heavy sounding guitars and groovy drums, or call it catchy since groovy is a sin here. Harmonics shines here and there. Not so convinced with these guitars since the entire song sounds like a mix between Thrash and Hardcore, and I for one never like such a combination.

That “TO DIE” sunged all together in the chorus heavily reminds me of Suicidal Tendencies “How will I laugh tommorrow”. Hah. I’ve no idea if that is supposed to be good or what but the vocals sometimes sounds annoying to me. You know these vocals that is like being shouted with an angry voice? This is what’s going on in here. Fans of such voices will sure add this up.

Rebirth continues to deliver those heavy guitars on the 2nd track’s intro, then the shouting vocals enters ruining the music, and then back again with those catchy chuga-chuga. Once again: liked the music, hated the vocals. I never like the last track. Case closed. Ok, since that this is just a promo, there are only 3 tracks in here. I was told that the album is already out now (with these 3 tracks included). You may check that out.

1. Anthem Of The Black Hearted
2. Heroes Die By Gunfire
3. In The Wake Of Desperation

This sounds like Metalcore on the borderline of Hardcore! Aha, not very metal at all!
