Black/Death Metal machine from Poland, Behemoth, finally revealed details of their up and coming album which is simply called “Evangelion”. It is scheduled for release this coming 7th of August 2009 thru Nuclear Blast (Europe) and will be out in the US in the 11th of August 2009 via Metal Blade Records. -

Black Metal veterans from Poland, Thunderbolt, re-released their killer old effort “The Sons of Darkness” in fucking wax. This should end up in any Thunderbolt fans for this is the band’s finest moment. Other releases were not of interest if you ask me, but to each his own. -

VASTATOR – Hell Only Knows CD
As been stated in the band’s biography, Vastator is one of the most (edit: not the most) classic Heavy Metal acts coming from Chile. I haven’t heard this band back then, but it was stated that these guys came from the 80’s and is formed last 1986. Maybe it is the obscure factor of Chile that makes them so unknown to me. Still, I have no idea why came back “from the dead” if you consider yourself to be already dead? That doesn’t make any sense… -

Black/Death Metal savage duo from Victoria Australia, Black Serpent, went out with this four track MCD called “Nightside Cosmology”. Now, I am not familiar with this band at all. Except maybe for Jarro, the guy’s been involved with a few prominent names in the Australian Scene. However, I am setting that all aside now and focus on Black Serpent and nothing more but Black Serpent only! -

Italian Tech/Death Metal act, Coram Lethe, sent us their latest work called “…A Splendid Chaos”. The new album contains 10 tracks of heavy Death Metal with great production. These guys were not just another newcomer in the scene. They formed the band last 1999, that’s already a decade long and yes, this is their latest album. -
SOUL DEVOUR – Demo 2008 CDR
Death Metal act from Singapore, Soul Devour, recorded this four song demo in TNT Studios. Considering it’s a demo, the sound is enough to digest the songs and hear it clearly if there’s any potential in them. In fact, you couldn’t hear such a good sound like this in a demo back in… say like, 1994? Hah! Our problem is that this isn’t 1994 anymore so we’ll be ignoring that fact since I’ve been hearing such sound in every demo I received.
